Here is a fun summer project we did for an amazing customer in Bolton Ontario! The Deck stairs were twisted and and unusable, and the posts for the deck heaved and moved the deck during every freeze and thaw cycle. Major drainage issues and eavestroughs that pulled away from the roof were the main culprits, so we fixed those, installed drainage tile under the new patio, and regraded/redirected the entire back yard and side yards to drain water away from the house and deck area. We then Installed an interlock patio, a pad for the stairs to land on, an armour stone garden, cleaned up both side yards of the house, as well as did some other minor fixes around the property while we were on site !

The space under the deck was just used for storage and always pooled with water in the spring time ! You can see the customer tired to make the main posts “adjustable” to counter the upheaval from frost !

The space is now functional , dry and an added extension of the home !
